Let's Talk World Whatsapp Study Group

MISSION 

Our mission is to support English and Portuguese learners through daily reading practice, personalized feedback, and interactive live conversation events.

🇬🇧 GUIDELINES

1️⃣ Two steps to keep yourself inside the group always for free:

1.  Join at least 4 live events per month 

2. Vote in the monthly poll.

After the 25th of each month, we’ll post a poll in the WhatsApp group to track your progress. Simply select one of the three options:

✅ Yes, I reached my goal!🥳🥳

🫣 Not yet, but I’ll donate to stay in the group.

🥲 No thanks, I’m heading out.

Please make sure to vote—this is the final step required to maintain your membership.

2️⃣  A second chance – through donation:
Only if you couldn’t complete your practice requirements for that month, you have a second chance:
Send a $2 donation to Doctors Without Borders (reais $10.65) at https://doe.msf.org.br/
and share the receipt in the group.
3️⃣ Maintaining our mission .
Members who don’t meet Rule 1 or 2 will be kindly removed at the end of the month
4️⃣ Posts:
In addition to recording reading practices, *you are allowed* to post to the group at three special times.
1. To say “Welcome!” to new members 🎉
2. To share info if you’re planning to meet another member in person 🤝
3. To invite for a one to one conversation

⚠️ If someone forgets rule 4 twice, they’ll be removed so the group stays productive and respectful for everyone.

How to use the group to become fluent in Portuguese or English in one year.

1. Recording all reading practice ( All new words you see there, look them up on the internet for better understanding)

2. Create new sentences with all the new words you find.

3. Make friends with native speakers and practice with them in one to one conversations and ask them questions you have about your target language.

4. Attend live events to speak without judgement.

5. Exchange feedback with your partners.

Only, if you agree with all the rules and are focused enough to achieve the goals , send a text to the number at the ending of the page.

Nossa missão é apoiar estudantes de inglês e português por meio de prática diária de leitura, feedback personalizado e eventos interativos de conversação ao vivo.

 1. Participar de pelo menos 4 eventos ao vivo por mês

2️⃣ Há  uma segunda chance de permanecer no grupo – por meio de doações:
Se você não conseguiu cumprir os requisitos para conseguir a gratuidade em algum mês, você tem uma segunda chance:

3️⃣ Mantendo nossa missão:
Os membros que não cumprirem a Regra 1 ou 2 serão removidos no final do mês.
4️⃣ Postagens:
Além de gravar as práticas de leitura são permitidos postar no grupo em três momentos especiais
1. Para dizer "Bem-vindo!" Para novos membros 🎉
2. Para compartilhar informações caso você esteja planejando encontrar outro membro do grupo pessoalmente 🤝
3. Para convidar outros membros para praticar idiomas
⚠️ Se alguém esquecer a regra 4 duas vezes, será removido.

Como usar o grupo para se tornar fluente em português ou inglês em um ano.

1. Grave todas as práticas de leitura (Pesquise na internet todas as palavras novas que encontrar nelas para aprendê-las).

2. Crie novas frases com todas as palavras novas que encontrar.

3. Faça amizade com falantes nativos e pratique com eles em conversas individuais, tirando suas dúvidas sobre o idioma que está aprendendo.

4. Participe de eventos ao vivo para praticar sem julgamentos.

5. Troque feedback com seus parceiros de estudos.
